Caring for your piece

Copper, silver and brass are living metals. With a little care, your piece will keep its glow for a lifetime.

How it arrives

Every metal piece is polished and sealed with Renaissance Wax, a clear protective coating that slows tarnish. Each order includes a small polishing pad that lasts for years.

Every day

Put your jewelry on last, after lotion, perfume, hair spray and makeup.
Take it off first, and before swimming, showering, workouts, gardening, washing dishes or cleaning.
Keep it away from household cleaners, essential oils and harsh chemicals.
Do not sleep in it.

Bringing back the shine

Rub gently with the polishing pad or any jewelry polishing cloth.
Mild soap and water will not hurt the finish. Dry right away.
Skip jewelry cleaners, dips and ultrasonic cleaners.

Storing it

Keep each piece in its gift box or an airtight bag, in a dry place.
Store beaded pieces flat and apart from each other.

How fast will my order ship?

Orders ship within 1 to 3 business days by USPS First Class, with tracking. Priority or Express shipping is available. Just ask before you order.

Do you ship outside the United States?

Not right now. Orders ship within the United States only.

Can I return a piece?

Yes. Contact Nigora within 3 days of delivery and ship the piece back within 10 days, unworn and insured. The refund covers the item, not shipping. Please message her before sending anything back.

Can I cancel an order?

Message Nigora within 24 hours of buying and she will take care of it.

Do you make custom pieces?

Yes, gladly. Custom work usually takes 1 to 3 weeks, and a rush is possible for a fee. Nigora sends a photo for your approval, then creates a reserved listing for you on Etsy. Custom pieces cannot be returned. Write to makeitmine@sierrahillstudio.com.

How do I find my bracelet size?

Measure your wrist snugly with a soft tape or a strip of paper, then add 3/4 to 1 inch for a comfortable fit.

Will copper turn my skin green?

Every piece is sealed with Renaissance Wax, which helps a lot. Copper can still leave a faint mark on some skin. It is harmless and washes off with soap and water. Keeping the piece dry and wiping it after wearing helps.

How do I keep it shining?

Put it on last and take it off first, keep it dry, and buff it with the polishing pad that comes with it. Full care guide.
